Breast Cancer Month IS the Cancer.

So for the rest of my life, Breast Cancer will come and go. Like Jerry's kids, it won't be solved, just funded. Even when survivability is 99.999%, this cause will morph, but still exist to exist. But who cares, everyone needs a good walk. I don't object to the cause, just the silliness of the direction. Why not prostate cancer or colon cancer, or basic stem-research or space-elevator or community-workout-centers for the elderly, or bike paths, or car-pool subsidies. Just tits, and a whole month of them.

You see, women move in crowds, and as a guy told me, "women think with both halves of their brains at the same time". When Ms. Ginsburg was asked about women on the supreme court, she said, "you don't see me advocating a full bench of women".

So write a check to the American Diabetes association or Catholic Charities or someone, not just Breast Cancer. Heck, visit some facilities and rate and pick some in need of a specific piece of equipment. Don't just send money to anyone.
